Free Needlepoint St. Patrick’s Day E-Chart!
Chicagoans know well how vibrant (literally) the city becomes on St. Patty’s Day! It’s one of my favorite holidays to celebrate for that reason. Enjoy this free St. Patrick’s Day inspired chart to help commemorate.
This chart stitches to approximately 3.3 x 3.3 inches on 18 mesh. Here's an example of what it looks like finished as an ornament:

This is an easy chart to start with if you’re new to charting your own needlepoint canvases.
I recommend sketching out the outline of the puppy and its hat and then an outline of the circle. It then makes it much easier to fill in the details like the bow tie, eyes, and snout from there.
I beaded the stars at random and did not bother painting those to save time!
If you are doing an open stitch for the background, like a skip tent, then you will need to paint the circle fully as to not leave the blank canvas showing through. If you’re choosing a full coverage stitch, you can save yourself the effort of filling the circle in with paint.
